Chess.com is a global community of chess players and while 99% of our members are wonderful, you may occasionally find somebody who is rude or offensive. We obviously cannot police everything on the site, so we provide tools for you to manage your relationships with other users. If someone offends you, here is what you should do:

Group Abuse

If someone in your group or team is abusive, please contact the admin of that group.

Site Abuse

If you have found something seriously offensive on the Chess.com website, please let us know immediately. This includes:

• Anything lewd, sexually inappropriate, or pornographic - this includes text, images, links, etc
• Anything offensive, threatening, or intentionally discriminatory to any race, gender, sexual orientation, etc
• Anything slanderous, threatening, or malicious toward any user
• Anything "spam" (links to commercial websites where not approved, etc)
