Multi-Club Arenas
A Multi-Club Arena (MCA) is a live Arena where you compete on behalf of your club against players from other participating clubs. You will not be paired against another player from your own club.
Games work like a regular Arena: play as many games as you can before time runs out and earn points from wins, draws, and win streaks. Your points can also contribute to your club’s score, and the club with the highest score wins.
How do I create a Multi-Club Arena?
You must hold a Coordinator, Admin, or Super Admin role in the club you want to host the Multi-Club Arena. Regular club members cannot create it. If you hold one of these roles, follow the steps below to create one:
Hover over 'Play' in the left-side menu fo any Chess.com page and select 'Tournaments.'
Select 'Create' and choose 'Multi-Club Arena.'
Select the club that will host the Arena, enter the Arena name, and choose the clubs you want to challenge.
Fill out the event settings.
Click 'Create.' A challenge will be sent to the clubs you selected.
The host can also challenge additional clubs after other clubs have already accepted. Clubs cannot request to join an MCA on their own. The host must send them a challenge.
If you hold the appropriate roles in both the hosting club and a challenged club, the challenged club will be accepted automatically.

How does scoring work in MCAs?
Individual scoring
You earn:
2 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss
1 bonus point for two wins in a row
2 bonus points for a streak of three or more wins
Club scoring
The organizer can choose how many players from each club count toward the club's total score. For example, if the organizer sets Eligible Scorers to 5, only the five highest-scoring players from each club will contribute to that club's score. Other club members can still participate, but their points will not be added to the club total.
The standings include both club results and individual results.
After the event, organizers can download a CSV of the results from the results page.
