You may change your password whenever you like!

From anywhere on Chess.com, click on Settings in the bottom left corner of the screen.

On your settings page, click on Password :

From there, you will be able to change your password using your previous password.

Note: your password must have at least 8 characters, with at least one capital letter, and at least one number.

If you are using a shared or public computer, always ensure you log out of the site completely before leaving the computer unattended!

If you forgot to log out somewhere, you can click on the red 'Log out on all devices' button, and this will sign you out everywhere.

To change your password on mobile, first, tap on 'more' in the bottom right, then tap on 'Settings.'

From in the settings menu, choose 'Account' then tap on 'password' at the top:

In the next menu you'll see the option to change your password.

Be sure to choose a strong password using a variety of lower and upper case letters, numbers, and symbols.
