Live Ratings on Chess.com

You can view players’ live ratings and rankings at Chess.com/ratings.

FIDE updates its published ratings once per month, on the last day of the month. Until the next update, a player’s official rating stays the same, even if they have major results in the middle of the month. Our Ratings page fills that gap by showing, in real time, how recent performances are affecting a player’s projected rating and rank.

Clicking any player shows their latest game results. You'll see the tournament they played in, their opponents, when they played each game, and even links to each game. The list shows their most recent games with classical time controls by default. You can switch to other time controls using the dropdown menu.

You can also see if a player is playing a rated game right now. If that's the case, you'll see a green Watch button. Clicking it will take you to their ongoing game on our Events page, where you can watch it live and learn more about the event.
