How to join a club on Chess.com
Joining a club opens up many opportunities, like participating in club matches, playing vote chess, and connecting with members who share your interests or live nearby.
To find a club, hover over 'Community' in the left-side menu of any Chess.com page and select 'Clubs.'
If you already know the name of the club you want to join, enter it in the search bar under Discover Clubs. If you don't have a specific club in mind, you can browse the Discover Clubs section to find suggested clubs you may be interested in joining.
If you'd like to find real-life chess clubs near you, click 'Use My Location' under the Clubs Close to You panel on the right side of the page. Make sure to allow location access in your browser so Chess.com can show you nearby clubs.
Alternatively, select 'Local Clubs' from the right-side panel to explore local clubs in different locations.
Once you've found a club you'd like to join, select it to open the club's homepage. From there, select 'Join Club.'
Some clubs may ask you to complete a form or meet specific requirements listed in the club description. After submitting your request, you may need to wait for a club administrator to approve it.
Once your request is approved, you'll have access to the club's private forums, notes, and chats, and you'll be able to participate in club matches!
