Features of the Events page

Our Events Page offers a comprehensive broadcasting platform for live games, featuring advanced tools such as cloud analysis with the latest Stockfish, tablebase support, crosstables, schedules, standings, voting, embedded commentary streams, and more.

Displaying the Events page along with the Chess.com logo on your video stream comes with additional benefits. We can integrate your live Twitch or YouTube stream directly onto the Events Page, enhancing visibility and engagement within the chess community.

Events pages can even be embedded on your website for broadcasts with access to all of our tools!

  • Embed the Events page on other platforms

The Events page can be embedded on other websites, letting chess fans access tournament information directly from the organizer’s official site. All features, including Stockfish analysis, tablebases, crosstables, and schedules, remain available. We can also embed live videos from YouTube or Twitch on your Events page (upon request), allowing viewers to follow and subscribe to your channel or watch directly from the page:

  • Production and live commentary

The Events page is user-friendly for live production and commentary. It allows you to highlight squares, draw arrows, annotate games, refer to auto-generated standings and schedules, check evaluations with the latest Stockfish or tablebases, and navigate between games. All necessary tools for commentators are readily accessible on Chess.com.

This clip from the 2022 Chess.com Global Chess Championship demonstrates how the Events page can be used in a live-stream overlay, including live games, camera feeds, and an evaluation bar. This setup works for both online and over-the-board events.

The Selected Games feature saves games you've focused on, allowing easy pivoting between key games of the round.
