This feature is being gradually rolled out as part of the transition to using Game Collections within Analysis.
Library on Chess.com
Your Chess.com Library is a personal space where you can save and organize collections of games, whether they’re games you played yourself or games played by others.
To access your Library, hover over 'More' in the left-side menu on any Chess.com page and select 'Library.' From there, you can create and manage collections to save your favorite games or your own analyzed games. You can also explore collections created by the Chess.com community.
Game limits per membership level
You can add several games depending on your membership level - Each collection has a limit of 5000 games.
Basic members: Up to 1000 games saved in your Library
Premium members: Up to 100,000 games!
Game Collections
How do I create a collection?
From your Library, click Create New Collection on the right side of the screen.
In the pop-up window, enter a name for your collection and click 'Create.'
You can then click 'Edit' to add a description or change the collection’s image.
How do I add games to a collection?
You can add a game or analysis directly from the game screen. Click the 'Add to Collection' button at the bottom of the right sidebar, then select the collection you want to save it to. If none of your existing collections fit, you can create a new one from there.
Alternatively, go to the Library, open the collection you want to add to, and click 'Add Games.' You’ll see several options for adding games or analyses. Refer to the table below for more details.

Set Up Position
| You can freely move pieces across the board or remove them by dragging them off to the right. Customize the board by adding, relocating, or deleting pieces to your liking.
Below the pieces menu, you have the option to select whose turn it is in the drop-down, you can also flip the board, reset the board to the starting position, or trash all the pieces and get an empty board.
The O-O and O-O-O check-boxes let the computer know if white and black have the right to castle or not. A check in the box means yes, they can castle this way. |

Load From FEN/PGN(s)
| You can use the text box to paste the FEN/PGN of any game you want to save to your Library - Even games that are not from Chess.com!
You can upload a single PGN containing multiple games but it's limited to 100 games in the same PGN.

How can I view my saved games?
To view games or self-analysis you’ve saved, go to your Library and open the collection where they’re stored.
You can view the game directly within the collection and click through the moves. From there, you can also open the original game, analyze it, open in Classroom, share a link, or download the PGN.
How can I view collections that were shared with me?
If someone adds you as a participant in a collection, you’ll find it under the 'Shared with You' tab within Your Collections on the Library page.
Participants can view the collection but cannot edit the games, name, or collection details.
How do I share a collection?
To share your collection publicly, toggle 'Make Public' on under the Privacy section on the right side.
To share with specific people, click 'Participants' under Privacy and enter the username of the person you want to share the collection with.
Community Collections
You can browse collections created by other Chess.com members under the 'Community Collections' tab in the Library.
Can I save a community collection?
Yes! If you find a collection you like, you can bookmark it for easy access later. Open the collection and click 'Bookmark Collection' on the right side.
All your bookmarked collections can be found under Community Collections > Bookmarks in your Library.
