How do I turn on or off Timestamps?

Timestamps on Chess.com

Timestamps show how long each move took in a game. You’ll see them next to each move in the move list for both Live and Daily chess.

In the example below, each move shows a colored bar indicating how long it took. Longer bars mean more time. In Daily games, time is shown in hours or days instead.

For Daily games, the time may be represented in hours or days instead.

How to enable or disable timestamps

To turn timestamps on or off, follow these steps:

  1. Click 'Settings' in the bottom left corner of any page on Chess.com, then select 'Gameplay' from the Settings menu.

  2. In the Analysis section, find the 'Show Timestamps' option and toggle it on or off based on your preference.
