How can I reset my bot crowns?

The number of crowns you earn for defeating a bot depends on how much assistance you used. The chart below shows how many crowns you earn at each assistance level.

To view your crowns, go to 'Play Bots,' where the crowns you’ve earned appear on each bot’s avatar.

On mobile, the number of crowns you earn depends on the mode you played: Challenge (3 crowns), Friendly (2 crowns), and Assisted or Custom (1 crown).


How to reset your bot crowns

If you've defeated all the bot personalities or want to reset your progress, you can easily reset your crowns in your settings! Here’s how:

  1. Click the cogwheel icon ('Settings') in the bottom-left corner of any Chess.com page, then select 'All Settings.'

  2. Go to the 'Gameplay' settings menu, then scroll down to the 'Bots History' section. Click the red 'Reset' button to remove all your crowns and start fresh with the bots!

Currently, you can only reset your bot crowns on the Chess.com website and not on the mobile apps.
