Like many websites, chess.com allows you to sign in using your Google, Facebook or Apple account, as well as connect your Discord and Twitch accounts! But what if you are using a new Facebook, Google or Apple account, or want to disable that feature? The steps below will guide you through connecting and disconnecting accounts.

To begin, you'll need to open your settings. From anywhere on chess.com, hover over the settings icon on the bottom left of the page, and click ‘all settings'.

From the list of options on the left, choose ‘connected accounts’ near the bottom.

Next, you will see your connections for Facebook, Google, Apple, as well as Twitch and Discord. If you’d like to connect any of these, click ‘connect.’ To change a connection that already exists, click ‘disconnect’ and the connection will be removed. You can then click ‘connect’ and add the new connection!

You will now be able to sign in with your new connection!
