How do I restart my Premium Membership?

If you canceled your auto-renew, and your membership is set to expire, you can restart your membership and make sure it renews automatically again in your account settings!

How to restart your membership

If your membership is not set to renew, you will see the option to Restart Membership:

Click 'Restart Membership' and that's all there is to it! You'll see a notification that your membership is reactivated, and you can rest assured that you won't be losing any Premium features any time soon!

Android

If you canceled your auto-renew, but now you want to turn it back on, here's how to do it on Android!

First, from the Google Play Store, tap on your Profile Icon to open your account settings:

Then, in the next menu tap on Payments & Subscriptions:

From the Payments & Subscriptions menu, tap Subscriptions:

Open your subscription to the Chess.com mobile app and tap Resubscribe:

This will open a confirmation window. Tap Resubscribe to finish the resubscribing to your premium membership!

You will not be charged right away, this will simply turn back on your auto-renew, so that when your renew date comes, you won't miss a minute of Chess.com features!

iOS

If you canceled your auto-renew, but now you want to turn it on again, here's how to do it on iOS!

Open the App Store and tap on your Profile Icon to open your Account Settings:

From your Account Settings, Tap on Subscriptions:

Then, find the Chess.com app under your Active subscriptions, and tap on the icon to open your subscription settings:

From your subscription options, tap on the subscription tier you would like to subscribe to (Gold, Platinum, or Diamond). If you are just wanting to resubscribe without changes, be sure to choose your same tier:

Follow the on-screen instructions (Double click, confirm with slide button, etc.) to finish resubscribing to a Premium membership.
