FAQ
1. How do I invite members to my club without receiving a warning?
You can send up to 30 invitations every 24 hours using the ‘Invite members’ button under your ‘Club admin’ settings menu or in the club’s header.
Sending club invites using the site messages or posting notes or forums to invite people to your club instead could result in your account being flagged as a spam account.
Check out this article to learn how to invite members to your club: How do I invite someone to join my club?
2. How do I create a Daily tournament for the members of my club?
How to create the Daily tournament:
Go to your club's page and click 'New Club Event' under the club admin settings
In the tournaments tab, make sure you're on the 'Create' option and select 'Club Daily Tournament'
Click the down arrow next to 'Show Advanced Options' to reveal more settings
Toggle 'This is an invite-only tournament'
Toggle 'Members of Club Allowed' and select the club for which you're creating the tournament
Once you're done customizing, click 'Create'
How to invite your club members to your tournament:
Use the 'Invite Players' option under TD Tools to send direct invites. See more here.
Alternatively, share the tournament URL in a club announcement for members to join!
3. How can I make my club official/verified?
The 'Official' club tag is designed to help members identify clubs that genuinely represent Chess.com or well-known entities in the global chess community.
These are the primary clubs that have the ‘Official’ tag:
Chess.com Clubs
Streamer/Player Fan Clubs run by the person in question
Sizable OTB Chess Clubs
We appreciate each and every community on Chess.com, but we are keeping the official list limited.
You can read our post about the ‘official’ club tag here: The New Official Club Tag
4. How can I connect with other club admins?
Looking to connect with other members who manage clubs as admins or super admins? Join the official Chess.com club for admins! It’s a great place to meet like-minded individuals, share tips, and seek advice on running your club more effectively.
You have to be an admin of a club with at least 100 members to be eligible to join!
5. How do I report a bug or submit a club feature?
If you’ve encountered a bug affecting your club activities or you’d like to propose a feature that you think could improve the experience of your club members, let us know! Click ‘Support’ at the bottom-left corner of any Chess.com page, select ‘Contact Support,’ and choose the appropriate option.

6. What should I do if the super admin of the club I'm an admin of is inactive and I want to take over the role?
In cases where the only super admin in a club is inactive, club members can vote to replace the super admin through a club-wide vote.
Check out this article to learn how to start a vote amongst the club members: How do I add, remove, or change a club admin?
7. What’s the difference between using the 'landing page' and sharing my club’s URL?
The landing page lets you recruit potential club members who might not even have a Chess.com account yet. This works especially well for OTB clubs that also have an online club on Chess.com! When these potential members click on your link they will be prompted to create an account (or log in, if they do have an account) and automatically join your club. You can also customize your landing page to add a welcoming message for these new members!
On the other hand, only sharing your club's URL allows potential members to take a look at your club without automatically making them join.
