Your Coach on Chess.com
You can easily manage your coach and customize how they interact with you throughout your chess journey. Follow the steps below to adjust your preferences:

Click 'Settings' in the lower-left corner of any Chess.com page.
Select 'Coach' from the menu on the left.
Here, you can choose your preferred Coach and control where they appear and how they interact with you. Simply toggle the switches to match your preferences.

Choose your Coach | Choose from four unique coaches—David, Nadia, Dante, and Mae—each with a distinct speaking voice that you can hear in Game Review.
You can switch coaches anytime by tapping on your current Coach wherever they appear. This allows you to choose a new Coach without leaving the page.

Motivational messages | Your coach will appear in various places to track your progress, give you tips, and provide motivational messages. |
Reminders | If enabled, expect reminders from your coach to practice and review your games. |
Voice | Mute or unmute your coach's voice—currently used in Game Review and for English only.
Alternatively, you can also click on the speaker icon ('Settings') when running the Game Review to mute or unmute them.

Mobile
The following steps apply to both iOS and Android mobile apps, but currently, only iOS users have access to Coach audio.
Tap 'More' in the menu at the bottom of your screen.
Select 'Settings' from the menu, then tap on 'Coach' and use the toggles to adjust your preferences.
Alternatively, if you're using Game Review and want to enable or disable your Coach's voice, tap the gear icon ('Settings') at the top of the Game Review screen:
And toggle the 'Voice' option to your liking:
If the Voice option is turned on but you’re still not hearing your Coach, check that your device is not in Silent Mode.
