Quick Analysis vs Game Review

Have you ever finished a game where the Quick Analysis showed a certain number of brilliant or missed moves, but when you ran the full Game Review, the number of brilliant moves was different from what you expected?

This is because the Game Over Modal runs a quick version of Game Review on your device, giving you an immediate overview of the game. We always display the engine’s initial evaluation without altering it.

In contrast, when you run a full Game Review, it is processed on our servers. This deeper analysis can sometimes update or change the data, resulting in a more accurate and higher-quality review.

Game Review itself can also run at different strength levels, allowing it to analyze longer and provide deeper insights. To select your preferred engine, click the cogwheel icon ('Settings') located between the board and the right-side panel of the Game Review screen. Then, use the dropdown menu next to 'Engine' to choose your option.
