Once you have withdrawn from a tournament, you will not be able to rejoin, even if the tournament has not yet started. So, be sure about your decision before withdrawing!

Daily Tournament
You can withdraw from a Daily tournament at any time by clicking Withdraw on the right-hand side of any tournament homepage:
However, withdrawing from a Daily tournament while you have games in progress will automatically cause you to resign all of the tournament games. This may negatively affect your rating if more than 4 moves have been made. Even games with no moves made will show as a loss in your game history.
For this reason, please be sure you will be able to participate in a tournament before joining it! And if it turns out you can’t take part, do your best to withdraw before the tournament starts.
Live Tournament
If the round has already started, withdrawing will cause you to resign any active games.
If you are playing in a Live tournament, you can withdraw by clicking the X on the tournament tab. When the popup window appears, select Yes to confirm your withdrawal.

Tap on Play on the main screen
Select Tournaments
Tap on the tournament you want to withdraw from under the Joined list and tap the X
Click Yes in the pop-up message:
