How to create a match between clubs
Create the event
Go to your club’s homepage. From the admin settings on the right side, click 'New Club Event' to access the options for creating tournaments and events.
Choose either 'Club Daily Match' or 'Club Match' from the options.
Select your match preferences.
Customize the match settings
Here are the key settings and what they control:

Club | This dropdown will list all the clubs where you have the role of coordinator or higher. |
Club to Challenge | Search for the opponent club and enter the name of the club you wish to challenge. |
Match Name | Name your match. |
Quick Description | Add a brief description for your tournament. |
Game Type | Choose from standard chess, chess 960, a book opening, or a custom FEN. |
Start Date | Specify a start date for the tournament, even if the maximum players have not yet joined. |
Start Time | Set the specific time for the tournament to start. The default is midnight of the start date, and times are displayed in your time zone. |
Rating | Set minimum and maximum ratings for participants. |
Players Per Club | Set the minimum and maximum numbers of players needed for the match to start. |
Concurrent Games Per Player | Choose whether players will play one game at a time (pick 1) or both games (as black and white) simultaneously (pick 2). |
Rated | Toggle this off if you prefer to play unrated games. |
Auto-Start Tournament when registration is full | Enable this to automatically start the tournament when the maximum number of players has registered, regardless of the set start time or date. |
Minimum Games | Set a minimum number of games a player must have completed to be eligible to join the match. |
Send the challenge
Once all settings are configured, click the green 'Create' button at the bottom of the page and the challenge will be sent to the opposing club. When the other club accepts, the match is on, and members from both clubs can start joining the match!
