How do I save an analysis?

Learn how to save your self-analysis from a Live or Daily game and add it to a Library collection for easy future review!

How to save an analysis

Do you find yourself deeply analyzing your moves? If you want to save what you come up with, we've got you covered!

From a live game

To save any of your self-analysis lines, click 'Save' at the bottom of the analysis tab:

A pop-up will appear, letting you choose to add your analysis to an existing collection in your library or create a new one. Your saved analysis will always be accessible in your library!

Save a game to a library

From an ongoing Daily game

  • To open the self-analysis window during a daily game, click on the 'Analysis' icon:

  • Once you've made your moves or added your comments, click 'Save Analysis:'

  • This action will save your variations, which you can revisit by clicking the 'Analysis' icon again—you'll notice a red asterisk indicating your analysis has been saved:

  • Please note that this will only save your analysis within this daily game. If you want to save the analysis to your library for later review, click 'Game Review' after the game is completed, then select the 'Analysis' icon:

  • From there, save your self-analysis lines and comments by clicking 'Save' at the bottom of the analysis tab. You can choose which collection in your library to save it to for future reference:
