"Chess is 99% tactics."- Richard Teichmann

Chess puzzles are a great way to sharpen your tactical skills!

Tactics are essential in chess. Even with a strong understanding of openings and strategy, missing key tactics can lead to costly mistakes. Often referred to as the "watchdogs of strategy," tactics hold your positions together.

Improving your tactics comes with consistent practice. Most tactics involve common patterns like double attacks, pins, and overworked defenders. The more familiar you are with these, the easier it becomes to spot them during a game.

Puzzles will help you go through tactical position after tactical position, reinforcing pattern recognition so that they will 'jump out' when they appear in your own games!
