So, you just bought the Gold 1-year membership and tried it out for a month. Now, you suddenly realize that you've just got to have unlimited analysis and decide you want to upgrade to Platinum. But, how much will it cost?
Do You Have to Pay the Full Price to Upgrade?
If you paid with a credit/debit card or PayPal, you'll receive a discount for the remaining value of your current membership when you upgrade. You'll see this discount on the final purchase screen.
If you paid through Google Play, they'll convert any remaining unused credit into membership time on your new Premium Membership plan. They won't charge you until your original payment credit runs out, and then you'll be charged the full price for the new Premium Membership.
If you paid through Apple iTunes, you'll be charged the full amount for the new Premium Membership upgrade without reflecting any remaining membership credit. However, Apple iTunes should refund a portion of the remaining unused balance of the original subscription back to you.
Gift subscriptions can not be used as credit, and if your current subscription is a gift subscription you will not be discounted for your upgrade.
How Much Will I Be Discounted?
The discount you receive is based on how much of your subscription you've already used.
For instance, if you had a 1-year subscription and used it for 6 months - half the year, you'd get a 50% discount off the original price you paid.
