Cancelling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be cancelled up until the day of the next scheduled payment.
You may also disable your auto-renew in your PayPal account by following these steps:
Log in to your PayPal account.
Click the Settings gear in the top right of the page.
Select Payments, then Manage automatic payments
In the automatic payments section, find and click on Chess.com
Click Cancel.
Click Cancel automatic payments to confirm your request.
