Safe mode
If you want to limit your child's social interactions on Chess.com, or if you’d like some peace and quiet yourself, you can contact our Support team to enable 'Safe Mode' on your account. This will disable all messages, chats, and comments.
How to enable/disable safe mode
To request assistance with turning Safe Mode on or off, follow these steps:
Click 'Support' in the bottom-left menu on any Chess.com page
Click on 'Contact Support' to open the chat window and then select 'Something else' from the listed options
Click on 'I still need help,' and then 'Contact support to turn Safe Mode ON/OFF'
Follow the prompts to complete your request!
